Chandigarh.16 May,2020: A new "Online Appointment System” for Sub Registrar Office, Chandigarh has been launched. Applicant may register/book the appointment for the registration of their document through portal of Online Services of official website of Chandigarh Administration i.e. www.Chandigarhgov.in
The executants and witnesses of the documents would require to be present at Sub Registrar office atleast 10 minutes before the allotted time along with their documents which should be complete in all aspects as per the checklist available on website. No party/person will be entertained for registration of document after the expiry of the allotted slot time.
In order to prevent the spread of COVlD-19 and to foster the minimum close personal contact amongst the people coming to the Sub Registrar office, registration of
30 nos. of deeds per day has been fixed on all working days. The timings of the registration work has been fixed from 11:00 AM to 01:00 PM and from 01.30
PM to 4:30 PM and timings for supply of copy of deeds, inspection of documents and certified copy has been fixed from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM on all working days. However, no appointment is required for registration of Will from 11.00 AM to 01.00 PM on all working a days.
