Coronavirus Update in India: Ladakh also gets contracted with virus, 2 people tested positive

Total coronavirus cases has crossed one lakh globally, with almost 3,500 deaths. Outside China, a total of 20,290 cases has been recorded around the world since the epidemic began, including 414 deaths. So far, India has 34 confirmed cases of coronavirus.

An Indian national is among 15 new cases of the deadly coronavirus in the UAE, taking the total number of confirmed infections in the country to 45, health officials have said.

The samples of 258 people admitted in hospitals for suspected exposure to novel coronavirus in Maharashtra have returned negative and they have been discharged, state Health Minister Rajesh Tope said on Sunday. Maharashtra has not reported any positive case of coronavirus so far, Tope said.
