One of India’s fastest growing EDM artist, 32Stitches, launched his new song and music video “Top of the World” last week, releasing the track on his record label, Music High Court, which is now India’s largest Independent electronic music record label & tastemaker.
Founded by Arpit Gawri and Shrey Dua in 2015, Music High Court has now worked with over 50 international artists from around the world, including 2 Grammy Nominated producers. Their extensive background across music production and marketing, as well as artist management and programming has led to the formation of one of the strongest and prominently-branded independent record labels on this side of the continent.
The new release, “Top of the World”, launched on Friday, 9th July with a music video starring 32Stitches, shot across beautiful and exquisite locations across India, including Leh Ladakh and some of the highest motorable points in the world.
While briefing media persons at Chandigarh Press Club, Sector 27, said that they are the First Indian record label to host their own International showcase at Amsterdam Dance Festival.
"We are planning an expansion for our live vertical, MHC Throwdown into more international markets in the coming months, including shows across USA, along with a US-based branch of Music High Court” said 32Stitches aka Arpit, who has previously released music with Universal, Sony, Trap Nation, NoCopyrightSounds etc with over 30 million plays. He also won an IMA Award for Song of the Year in 2020.
“Our aim is to provide a full 360 degree push to upcoming artists, from releasing their music on our label, to hosting shows with them, and soon also designing and helping them sell their own merchandise” says Shrey Dua, who has previously worked with Sony Music India, heading marketing for releases by Badshah, Diljit Dosanjh, Harrdy Sandhu, Aastha Gill etc.
Prior to pandemic, they have given many international artists their Debut shows in India, along with giving many Indian artists their debut international shows as well.
