Days after Akshay Kumar's upcoming film, Laxmmi Bomb, was criticised for its title and accused of promoting 'love jihad', the Hindu Sena has written a complaint to the Information and Broadcasting Minister Prakash Javadekar. The group has sought appropriate action against the promoters, cast, and crew and demanded a title change. The Hindu Sena is of the view that the film's title mocks Hindu Goddess Laxmi's name and "hurts religious sentiments" of the Hindu community. In an official statement, the Hindu Sena has also threatened that if their demand is not met, they will protest outside cinema halls where the film may be screened. Further, they have also requested others to boycott the film if the title remains unchanged.
