Sara Ali Khan and Kartik Aaryan starrer Love Aaj Kal 2 released on Valentine's Day couldn't do much on the blockbuster with it's haywire storyline. The second part of the franchise seems to be having poor dialogues which spoiled the film's concept. One cannot argue that Imtiaz Ali has tried to portray another contrasting love story but couldn't do much with out of order screenplay.
As far as acting is concerning, Kartik Aaryan felt like just an accessory to add up to the story. Sara Ali Khan also couldn't do much justice to Zoe's character with her over the top emotions portrayal. Randeep Hooda, however, stole the show with his acting skills and emerged as a true artist. Also, the much less talked about, Aarushi Sharma was a good addition to the film in terms of acting.
There isn't much to talk about the film as the makers doesn't provide anything to take back home from the cimemas. The cinematography is an average one, but locations as it is the custom of Imtiaz Ali's films are an eye candy. The music by Pritam Chakroborty and Ishaan Chhabra is just a remake of the old film and isn't much to remember about. IMDb rating gives this film a 5.2 stars and rightly so, The Show Time also proffers 5.5/10 rating
