ISRO shares first image of Moon captured by Chandrayaan-2

The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) took to Twitter to share the first picture of Moon captured by Chandrayaan-2. The picture was taken at a height of about 2,650 km from the lunar surface on Wednesday. Mare Orientale basin and Apollo craters can be seen in the picture. Chandrayaan-2 is expected to land on the lunar surface on September 7.
