Starting with humble beginnings to being known to many as the Reggae Ambassador of Asia, Malaysian-Tamil artist Sasi the Don has had a highly successful musical journey. Sasi, who has sold more than 100,000 albums copies, has also been conferred by the International NGO for reggae music and creators the title of ‘Reggae ambassadors worldwide’ in 2002.
Holding the record for the most number of songs collaborated on, Sasi has worked with some of the biggest names in the music business including Apache Indian, Dr. Alban, Maxi Priest, Amy Search, Anita Sarawak,Amy Search,Maxy Priest to name a few.
After the success of his collaboration with Anuradha Sriram back in 2018 with the hitlist song titled ABCD, Sasi the Don now embarks on his new release "Daddy the don".
The song, will be the new Father’s day Anthem, claim sources close to Sasi. It is a tribute to all the Dads and single mothers who double up as fathers, all over the world. Sasi believes, every Dad is a product of love and affection and he was inspired to create this track to celebrate all the wonderful single parents out there. Sasi, who himself is Dad to a six year old, credits her as his inspiration as well.
Daddy The Don, which is penned and composed by Sasi and has Ibkinx and Gayathri Vadivel crooning the female vocals, released today woldwide.
