In a new bid, Paytm has been removed from the Google Play Store. The app is now no longer available for Android users. Google's decision to remove the application from the app store is said to be linked with the app's fantasy game offerings. PLAY STORE HAS PUBLISHED IN A BLOG HIGHLIGHTING THAT THE APPLICATION WAS NOT IN LINE WITH PLAY STORE POLICIES ON GAMBLING. "We don't allow online casinos or support any unregulated gambling apps that facilitate sports betting. This includes if an app leads consumers to an external website that allows them to participate in paid tournaments to win real money or cash prizes, it is a violation of our policies,"Google said in the blog post. Paytm has also issued a statement that the app is temporarily unavailable on Google's App Store for new downloads or updates. The app claims that the money is safe from the customers and they can continue using the wallet as normal.
