Red, Orange, Green Zone district-wise list for coronavirus lockdown: Complete classification of area
Red, Orange and Green -- that's how districts across India will be classified over the next few weeks as the country enters another phase of its battle against the novel coronavirus pandemic. With the nationwide lockdown ending on May 3, the government has decided to move to a district-wise zone classification system.
The 733 districts of India will be broadly divided into Red Zones, Orange Zones and Green Zones. The zone classification will determine the kind of restrictions placed on the movement of people and supply of goods in a district.
This zone classification is dynamic and will be revised every week. This story will be updated to reflect the latest classification of districts according to the central government. The current list is for the week of May 4 onwards.
