Chandigarh There will be no relaxation in curfew in Chandigarh after the Prime Minister's announcement of the entire India lock-down. Manoj Parida, Advisor to Chandigarh Administrator said that only house to house people will try to make arrangements to provide essential goods. No shops will open. Soon after the Prime Minister's announcement tonight, a new advisory was issued after videoconferencing of Cabinet Secretary Rajiv Gaba with the Chief Ministers, Chief Secretary, Administrators of the country.
Mr. Parida said that in the presence of Chandigarh Administrator VP Singh Badnore and officials, videoconferencing decided that the administration would make its employees and private authorities fully sanitize the agents and make the necessary items available to the public.
Meanwhile, Parida on her Twitter has appealed to the public of Chandigarh not to worry.
